No, Jennifer Lawrence Doesn't Think Donald Trump Personally Caused Hurricanes Harvey & Irma…

Jennifer Lawrence is setting the record straight.

ICYMI, conservatives in the United States called for a boycott of J.Law's new movie Mother! after her comments about climate change were twisted into an anti-Donald Trump sentiment. Lost??? Don't worry we've got all the facts for you.

While promoting her upcoming thriller, Miz Lawrence sat down with Britain's Channel 4 and said the following about climate change:

"It's scary to know, it's been proven through science, that climate change is due to human activity. And we continue to ignore it, and the only voice we have is through voting."

In response, the reporter then brought up how the American public elected a candidate who denied the existence of global warming. After calling the presidential race result "startling," the Oscar winner added:

"You're watching these hurricanes now, and it's hard -- especially while promoting this movie, not to feel Mother Nature's rage and wrath."

Unfortunately, this statement was manipulated to make it seem as though Jennifer personally blamed the Trumpster for causing Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Thus, the boycott of Mother! found traction online (below).
