Zain Asher: Nigerian-born CNN anchor is married!

She and her boo, Steve Peoples tied the knot in a lowkey ceremony in New York.

Congratulations to Zain Asher and Steve Peoples who tied the knot in New York on Saturday, September 30th 2017.

Zain, 34, and Steve, who covers politics for AP, have been engaged since April 2016 and finally took their wedding vows in a small ceremony in New York over the past weekend.

 

Tweeting of the ceremony, the Oxford University alumna says;

"So... this happened yesterday! It was blissful, beautiful, serene and it went by so quickly.

"Still floating on air. What a day!"

Chiwetel Ejiofor, the bride's popular brother, and Kandibe, her sister turned up for the beautiful ceremony.

Kandibe is the one who had that beautiful traditional wedding in Enugu in January 2016, followed by a stunning destination wedding on that sunny June afternoon in Rovinj, Croatia.

 

Of course, Chiwetel and Zain - who has now had a beautiful wedding of her own - were both present to celebrate with their sister at both ceremonies.
