News reports have revealed the tension which has led to a clash between the corp members and soldiers at the Karaye NYSC Orientation camp in Kano state.
Instablog9ja reports that the clash stemmed from the extreme punishment being given to the corp members and little to no social activities in the camp.

The situation reportedly reached a climax when some corp members were allegedly punished while returning from fellowship.
According to the reports, it had taken the intervention of the State NYSC coordinator to bring the situation under control.
However, the corp members demanded that the camp commandant be decamped, a wish that was reportedly granted for peace to reign.
