MPAC: The biggest Muslim convention in Nigeria is here, and everyone's invited

The 5th MPAC Annual National Convention promises to be worth every moment for attendees.

MPAC, one of the biggest Muslim organisations in the world, is holding its 5th annual National Convention. 

The Muslim Public Affairs Centre, MPAC will be holding this event on the 16th and 17th of December at the Exhibition Hall, National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos. As always, it promises to be packed with loads of insightful programmes, and of course, a Funfair. MPAC has a reputation for holding the landmark event for every Muslim, pulling together almost 10,000 attendees in the last four editions.

 

“Public Trust and Accountability”.

That’s the theme, and 15 speakers home and abroad will use their best words to enlighten participants and raise collective consciousness on this theme, sharing religious and other perspectives. 

The event will be chaired by His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III, the Sultan of Sokoto and the President General of the National Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA).

 

The Speakers.

The keynote address will be delivered by the Chief Registrar of JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede.

 

There’ll be Dr. Muiz Banire (SAN), Dr. Fatima Hendricks, Dr. Abdul Hakeem Lateef, Hajia Mariam Lemu, Dr Abdul Majeed Abdul Razzaq Alaro, Mrs Hajara Adeola, among other speakers.

 

There’ll be panels too. 

The panelists lines up are; Femi Falana (SAN), Barrister Adetokunbo Mumuni, Mrs Josephine Obiajulu Okei Odumakin, Mr Debo Adeniran, among others.

 

The ‘Why’ of this Convention.

The ultimate goal of this convention, like the others is to harmonise the Nigerian society at large and the Muslim community in particular through
important discussions that stimulate positive growth in the society. It’s why even non-Muslims are welcome. 

What to expect.

There will be insightful and soul-lifting lectures. There will be panel discussions. There will be exhibitions, family entertainment, chit-chat, Nasheed, space for businesses, halal games, ethical leadership classes for teenagers, and a lot more.

Tickets are available for sale online and at assigned ticket selling centres in different buying categories, including student and children categories. Tickets are available at souqhub.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the venue. 

Individuals and business owners are not left behind here. Interested persons can apply to rent a stall for the 2-day event.
