Ekehuan Campus of the University of Benin located at Ekehuan road just opposite College road for sometime now has been quite popular with the dilapitated signpost which has been described by some students of the Campus and outsiders as an eyesore and a slap on the face of the University of Benin.
The signpost in question was so dilapitated that it read 'University of Ekehuan Road Campus' instead of University of Benin, Ekehuan road Campus". This error can be clearly sighted when boarding a bus from ring road to Ekehuan Campus.
At the end of Prof Godwin Oshodin's tenure down to Prof F.O Orumwense present tenure, Some renovations ranging from classroom,hostel and administrative blocks took place but the dilapitated signpost was left unattended to.
Luck however smiled on Ekehuan Campus on the 11th of January 2015 as this was the day when the dilapitated signpost was pulled out and replaced with a new one.
Campus94 says CONGRATULATIONS to University of Benin, Ekehuan Campus and good riddance to 'University of Ekehuan road Campus'.
